Big Sean: Supa Dupa Lemonade Freestyle

February 1, 2010

I saw this a few days ago, and wasn’t initially going to post it until I saw the public’s response to this thing. Maybe people didn’t know about the flow before hand, or maybe they just really like Gucci’s Lemonade beat, in either case hype accounts for something, and this has been a national trending topic on twitter for the last few days, and those about to hate on twitter can save it, cuz you’re obviously not on it.

Big Sean: Supa Dupa Lemonade

Hip Hop Official Artist of the Week: Big Sean

January 27, 2010

It’s no secret, Big Sean is my guy. Ever since this summer when a player to be named later put me on to him, I’ve enjoyed his flow, lyrics, and being on G.O.O.D. music inhertly entails his production is off the charts w/ the likes of Kanye and No I.D. doing work. He’s interviewed here by Hip Hop Official and gives a few nuggets out about his Album Finally Famous which will have Mr. Hudson, Kanye, and Pharrell on it, and his Mixtape Finally Famous v.III which drops next month, and you can be sure as poop we’ll have it here.

Big Sean Million Dollars Video

January 20, 2010

For me Big Sean is part of the ressurection of hip-hop. Along with Cudi, Drake, B.O.B., and Mike Posner. Sean is oft overlooked because he’s the smallest name on the biggest label, that being the Kanye/Consequence founded G.O.O.D. music. While these visuals accompany a song long since released, you can see dude’s promise even on his “early” work. He’s yet to put out a mixtape, but Finally Famous is looming and is sure to be a class act.

Big Sean who is small in stature is one of the best new talents in the music industry. I didn’t say rap because my little man’s versatility and ability to transform from beat to beat will one day make him a success in any genre just like Drake. He’s getting set to drop Finally Famous which could in turn have those exact results. Enjoy two of my favorite Big Sean tracks, and feel free to voice your opinions, concerns, or birthday wishes in the shout box down to the right.

Big Sean: Tomorrow

December 27, 2009

Big Sean is an entrepreneurial type of cat. His website is tastefully adorned with videos, a blog, and even a store stocking his proprietary brand Finally Famous and a full line of Ambush Jewelry from Verbal of the Teriyaki Boyz. Within the aforementioned blog is a new video of the song Poe’d up by the Fly Union feat. Big Sean which is quite pleasing on the eyes and ears, just scroll down if you don’t believe me.

Chip Tha Ripper: Fat Raps feat. Big Sean & Curren$y

It looks like Chip Tha Ripper cartoonized some of his facebook friends with an equally cool picture but paltry song in comparison.

Consequence: Whatever U Want (Good Music Remix)

November 18, 2009

Ala the iced out Rocafella piece in the late 90s, the spinning G-unit piece in the 2000s, and Gucci Mane’s Bart Simpson, the membership cards of G.O.O.D. music are on display. Whatever you want has been remixed by the headliners of getting our our dreams and the song is quite G.O.O.D…..get it.

I suppose even when you’re a budding young star, you get a bunch of sweet free stuff. Verbal of the Teriyaki Boyz has a successful jewelry line dubbed Ambush, and Big Sean has been pushing it since its inception. Verbal recently hooked him with a triplet of iced out POW chains, and my favorite part of this video is that Big Sean is with two of his boys, but there’s no question that Sean is gettin all three chains, I guess this entourage will just have to wait til Sean’s celebrity is on Vinny Chase’s level.

Big Sean: Getcha Some

October 30, 2009

So this new video from Big Sean could just as easily be a Bathing Ape commercial, but it’s still pretty cool. With rich colors and simplistic animation, Big Sean is becoming his moniker Finally Famous, and the fact that his checks are issued by Kanye really does make him “one fresh bastard”.

Big Sean Supa Dupa Freestyle

October 23, 2009

So basically I agree with the Blog Man wholeheartedly. I mean heck what can I say we got there too dang early, but at least we weren’t one of the posers wearing fake prescription glasses. I’m not exactly sure when this trend blew up, but it’s got to stop especially if you were my dude with no frames in the potted plant denim button up (I did like the potted plant denim button up though). The show was sick, Big Sean and Mike Posner are soon going to be a force to be reckoned with. I will stray from Blog Man’s assessment in Theophilus London, that guy had some wacky moves and clearly didn’t give a care about what anyone thought. This little snippet starts out as Big Sean’s Supa Dupa, and then moves into a freestyle that displays the wherewithal to take a shot at Darko Milicic while performing in NY, great show, great time, terrible beer.
