When it rains it pours, usually that’s an unfortunate adage, but in Kid Cudi’s case, it means a media influx across the world wide interweb. The show which he’s featured in dropped yesterday, the mixtape which he hosted is out today, and now the video in which he croons over a David Guetta track has dropped, enjoy the visual accompinment to Memories.

We’ve previewed HBO’s new series dubbed How to Make it in America, which features a few guest spots from the blogosphere’s chosen one, Kid Cudi. Now in a surprising move from HBO, the entire first episode is available for a live stream right on your computer’s screen. I haven’t given it the full 28 min yet, but I will later on, and suggest you do the same.
If you guys have white dad’s in their late 50s, this song will probably strike a chord with you. Many a road trip included an off key family croon to Lay Lady Lay by Bob Dylan, and that’s exactly the sample that Cudder used here. This is by no means new, in fact, it’s over 3 years old, but like a fine Gouda….you can fill in the rest.
Kid Cudi: Highs N Lows
If you haven’t downloaded the track yet, you can do so here. Dan Black is a UK electro artist, and his jams are pretty funky if you know what I’m talkin about. Here are the visuals to the remix of Black’s debut single Symphonies featuring Kid Cudi. Cudi def took Blac on a trip to the moon with him for this video, and the two were probably influenced heavily by psychadelic drugs, the video is quite cool though.
While stationed in Bean Town, that’s just a little nickname for Boston, Kid Cudi and crew but together a little visual to go along with the vocals to CudderisBack. This is probably not the official video, nor is it likely that there will be an official video, but this thing is pretty funny and adds another to the complex personality that makes up this dude who will punch a fan one night, and then make a funny video complete with poop jokes in his hotel the next.
The trailer for the latest HBO series has been released and it stars, or co-stars, or features a cameo from your boy Scott Mescudi aka a Kid named Cudi. The blogosphere has hyped cudders role in the series, but judging from the trailer one can hope he has more than one line. I’ve expressed trepidation about this series before, it looks like it could be a real world type of farce, but then again every series from HBO is hot fire, so I’ll hold off any judgment until it airs next month.
UK electronic artist has remixed his debut single with Scott Mescudi, it’s cool. Enjoy.
Dan Black feat. Kid Cudi: Symphonies (Rmx)
So I was quite reluctant to post this making of the Memories music video, video. Because a video of a video is not only redundant, but probably a big waste of time. I think this video proves that point exactingly, and you probably shouldn’t even watch it. I’ve posted it simply because I introduced this event as something cool, and now I have the video evidence that proves the contrary. Sorry to any and all Miami Floaters.
Contrary to what other blog based music media outlets may have you believe this song is neither new nor unreleased. Rather it is a single of Guetta’s album One Love which dropped in August of 2009. The art work for the single dropped today, and if you were in Miami this evening hopefully you made it over to Nocturnal for a shot to be one of the 300 “stylish” individuals admitted to the club to be in the video which we will bring you just as soon as it is available. And if you were daydreaming about Miami today while fending off the cold with gandmas long undies, download the song for old time’s sake.
David Guetta: Memories feat. Kid Cudi
So this is a new HBO show which I’ve heard rumblings about for a few weeks, and has just now been released in TEASER form. This certainly appears to be a teaser, because the show looks like a JOKE. I will bite my tongue for now however because HBO has a track record for being nothing but spectacular with a debut seasons. If you don’t believe me see exhibits A-D; Entourage, East Bound and Down, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Bored to Death…..By the way the show stars Kid Cudi and that square headed Spanish fellow from Waiting and is set to air Feburary 14th.
