Here’s one that I can truly say that I am shocked it never got huge. I mean not only did it not get huge, it didn’t get anywhere at all. I don’t get it. It was on a huge Mariah CD, it’s a pregame/club song with T-Pain, radio friendly, and they even performed it live on some shows like SNL and Letterman. Yet no one has ever heard of it. Just goes to show why the Blogman should be running the industry.
Well it’s a distinct possibility in that they’re in the running for Best rap/sung collab.
The countdown begins! And what more fitting way to begin than the song that started it all. I started OneNightNBangkok.com in March 2009 because my college email was full and I needed a way to get this song to Pure and Dj Rotate. This was the first blog post of my life. Kind of brings a tear to my eye. Now this song was a GLC track but I never really heard about it after this original leaked. And this version is only featuring Kanye and T-Pain. So that’s the way it will stay.
I’d give a rough estimate of 6% for the amount of T-Pain solo singles that are listenable. Most of them are just straight shit. But some like “Know Your Name” are good. This one is not too bad.
